I am a divorced man with three kids,
daughter Alexis 21, daughter Holly 11, and son Colton 9.
I have many interests but started with
the XJ page because I am just starting the XJ project.
In the near future I will add a page
for my motorcycles. I do not own one now, but I have many years worth of pictures
to scan, and stories to tell, to get the page up. The last three bikes I owned were
BMW's. I liked them very much and my next bike will probably be one as well.
I know there are other bikes that can and do perform better than the BMW. However
there is just something about the quality, workmanship, and reliability of a BMW I
really appriciate. If I do defect it might be to a Triumph!
Update for 2007, I now have a bike again, time to get on that MC page (some is up now)
I am also interested in amateur
astronomy. Although with the family I don't always have time to get out under the
stars. I have a Celestron 114 HD, that is to say it is a 4¨ Newtonian
Reflector on the sturdiest Equitorial mount Celestron Makes. If you feel the need to
learn more about the stars I suggest Terrance Dickenson's Book ¨Nightwatch¨.
It is available at
Amazon.com. If I had read this
book before I got my telescope I probably would have gotten a different one.
If you read more about star gazing you will know why. If you want to
E-mail me I could tell you as well.
I also play the drums.
I played in the marching band in High School, but always wanted to play a kit.
When I moved to Colorado my minister said he was looking to get a praise band
together. I thought, ¨Hey I always wanted to do that anyway!!¨ ¨Beside,
now I can afford lessons¨. I did try to play a set back in High School,
but without lessons or the books with CD's Available today, I just couldn't
get it. BOY! what a difference having an instuctor makes! Now at 40 I play the
drums. I have a couple of picture of my kit here.
